HillSteps is a small, independently-run learning platform, currently free to use. By creating an account, you agree to the following.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. One account per person.

Your code

You own the code and projects you submit. Submitting it grants us permission to run it in the grading sandbox and display it back to you — nothing more.

Fair use of the sandbox

The code execution sandbox exists to grade your practice tasks. Please don't use it to attempt to break its isolation, mine cryptocurrency, attack other systems, or otherwise abuse shared compute — accounts doing so may be suspended.

Belts and certificates

Belts and certificates earned here reflect skills demonstrated on this platform. They are not accredited academic credentials.

No guarantees

The service is provided as-is, without warranty, and may change or be discontinued at any time. We'll try to give notice before anything that affects your access to your own data.

Ending your account

You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time — see our Privacy Policy.
